ZOMG, I'm posting!  :-)   I've once again been away for a long time and it's mostly because I suck.  BUT it's also because I'm so damn exhausted!  GAH!  So here's a quick update on me and I'll try to keep it short. 

After the many weddings I was attending/in were over, I thought I'd have a ton of time to catch up on LJ, life, etc., but NO!  As I mentioned in my last update post, I've moved from working on a product at work that is boring and exasperating at the same time but technically simple to a product that is boring and even more exasperating and technically very difficult.  On top of that, I was put on a project with an insane timeline which meant LONG days, most of which were spent on my feet.  Needless to say, I'm beyond exhausted!  I just finished producing product for a consumer test and that was a completely insane ordeal in and of itself.  Now, that part is over and I have never needed 4 days off more in my life!! 

This Thanksgiving I'm thankful for the holiday itself and the days off it entails!  :-)   Well since I'm posting and I'm not sure I'll have time tomorrow to post what I'm thankful for, I'll do it now. 

I'm thankful for my family and friends, both in RL and on LJ.  I'm thankful for my health, my kitteh, and in this economy, my job.  I'm especially thankful for my girlfriend, who makes me happier everyday. 

I hope everyone who celebrates has a great Thanksgiving!  I will be enjoying a Tofurkey for the first time this year.  I've been a vegetarian for about 12 years, but this will be the first year I've had it!  Hopefully, it'll be good!  :-)

So I read a bit of fanfic. Ok, I read a TON of fanfic...more than my fair share, prolly, and I've seen ratings done in multiple ways. You've got your G, PG, PG-13, etc., you got your 12, 15, 18....and I'm sure a ton of other ways to rate fic so you don't read naughty things you don't want to read or something. So there's a rating I've seen and I don't know what it means and I feel stupid for not being able to figure it out. I've seen NSFW (not safe for work), which took me forever to deceifer (eventually I had to ask my girlfriend, 'cause I'm not that quick) and I've seen FRMT. What the frell does that stand for?! FRMT?! I'm not feeling very SMRT, so if anyone out there in LJ land could let me know, I'd appreciate it. The computer confounds me....I shall never master its ways. :-(
